Delta Airlines Controversy
The video footage that was taken when Susan Peirez was kicked off the plane.
On February 6th, 2018, while on a flight from New York City to Syracuse, N.Y., Peirez was kicked out of the flight after threatening the flight attendant that she would lose her job. Prior to the moments in which Peirez makes the threat to the flight attendant, Peirez complained of sitting in the back of the plane and expressed her frustration through expletives and cuss words. A woman named Marissa Rundell who's toddler is 8 months old and
was also on board, asked Peirez not to use cuss words around the child.
Peirez continued to complain when the flight attendant came to handle the conflict which is when Peirez threatened the flight attendant with losing her job.
Repercussion
Rundell filmed a segment of the conflict and caught the moments when Peirez threatens the flight attendant who in turn decides to kick her off the flight.
As a result of the video going viral with more than 1.8 million views, Peirez has been placed on leave from her job.
Rundell has admitted that she "Feels kinda bad" for having exposed the situation on video, but had no idea that it would go viral.
The video has since been removed from Rundell's Facebook.
