Steven W. Brown is a Comedian based in South Carolina who was attacked by an audience member while performing Stand-up comedy at a locale called, The Comedy House. ^[1]

Brown was born in Detroit, Michigan, and raised in Tuscaloosa, Alabama. The city of Tuscaloosa is the place where he got most of his inspiration for his comedy earlier in his career. He was raised Christian by his grandparents which allowed him lead a spiritual life since he was a child.

Brown is a single father of three young men, and two beautiful daughters.

He is involved in his community and believes himself to be a humanitarian first.

He also coaches Little League teams.

When not doing comedy he finds the time to be a substitute teacher in the Tuscaloosa County school system.

Brown also has his own scholarship fund for college students called simply: "Steve Brown scholarship fund".

Brown is a graduate of Stillman College which is where he received his degree in Broadcast Communication. During his time in college is when he started to discovering his talent for comedy.

He started his college career while still in College and once he graduated he began to pursuit full-time.

He has performed for the past decade.

During a performance that took place on Sunday, January 21st, 2018, an audience member jumped on stage and began to attack Brown.

Brown defended himself, and eventually the attacker was escorted out.

The violent encounter was filmed and posted on facebook where it has since gone viral with more than 1.3 Million Views.
