Steven Lamm, M.D., known to millions as the house doctor on The View, is a practicing internist and faculty member at the New York University School of Medicine, where he also had his clinical training and received his medical degree. He completed his undergraduate training at Columbia University. A panel physician for the New York State Athletic Commission, Lamm regularly offers his analyses and comments on a wide variety of health and medical related topics on television and radio, including Oprah and Lifetime Today.
