Steven Croman is an New York, New York real estate Manager who owns 100 mostly residential buildings across Manhattan. State Attorney General Eric Schneiderman has launched an investigation into the tactics used by Steven Croman to push rent-stabilized Tenants out of their apartments.
Croman contributes to philanthropic causes like the 92nd street Y.
Croman's son, University of Michigan student Jake Croman, was in the news for harrassing and insulting an Uber Driver.
Allegations
In May 2016, Croman was charged with 20 felonies, including grand larceny, criminal tax fraud, falsifying business records and a scheme to defraud, relating to accusations he inflated his rental income to secure more than $45 million in bank loans.
He faces up to 25 years in prison.
