Stacey Cunningham
Stacey Cunningham is the President of the New York Stock Exchange, and its first female president since its founding in 1792.
Education
Cunningham graduated from Lehigh University in 1996 with a Bachelor of Science in Industrial Engineering, and interned for NYSE in 1994 while still a student.
Career
Cunningham worked on the NYSE trading floor as a specialist with Bank of America from 1996 to 2005, and then decided to explore her interest in cooking at the Institute for Culinary Education and worked at now-defunct restaurant Ouest.
In 2007 Cunningham was hired by NASDAQ OMX, where she worked her way up from Director of Capital Markets to Head of Sales.
Cunningham joined NYSE Euronext in 2012 as a Vice President, and was promoted to Chief Operating Officer in 2015.
Cunningham was named President of the New York Stock Exchange on 22 May 2018.
