Soroush Salehian is an American Entrepreneur and Engineer based in the San Francisco Bay Area. He is the founder of Aeva, an autonomous car technology company. [1]
Education
Salehian attended Stanford University and earned a BS in mechanical engineering and mechatronics. [1]
Career
Salehian worked in Planetary Science Research at NASA where he developed algorithms as part of analysis and proof of presence of hydrocarbon raindrops on the surface of Saturn's moon, Titan. [1] While at Stanford University, he was the President and Founder of New Frontiers design where he created electromechanical systems. [1] Also at Stanford, he was a Systems Engineer at the Jet Propulsion Lab and the Project Director at Stanford Space Systems. [1] In 2010, he founded BlueLibris where he designed a mobile phone that monitored medical and personal safety of young children and the elderly; It was later acquired by Numera Health. [4] Salehian was a Manager of Product Development at Apple and led Apple's SPG's Sensing Systems PM team as well as systems product management for a number of new products from concept to launch. [1]
Salehian is the Co-Founder and CEO of Aeva which is creating autonomous car technology that is supposed to improve range and measure velocity across weather conditions much better than previous technology.
