Sophie Johansson is a Swedish woman who was assaulted while inside of a nightclub called Babel. ^[1] The photos that she has shared online of herself bleeding due to the assailant's attack has since gone viral. ^[3]

Johansson was born and raised in Sweden. She currently lives in the city of Malmö. ^[1]

On Saturday night, January 27th, 2018, While Johansson was out with her friends at Babel nightclub, she was attacked by a man who had been groping and sexually harassing her.

While she was out on the dance floor with her, a man began to pull on her handbag.

The man began to feel on her buttocks and put his legs in between them.

When Sophie tried to get the man to step back and go away, he struck her on the face with his first.

When Johansson was struck and her friend decided to leave, which is when the man decided to struck her head once again with a glass bottle.

She started bleeding profusely from her the top of his head.

Johansson was taken to the hospital where she received stitches.

She has since said she is happy and grateful that it didn't escalate further, but she feels upset of not finding who the man was.

Police have started looking for tips, while the nightclub has also offered an apology.
