Sylvia "Small Fire" Cannon, formerly known as Small Fire, was born in Drew, Mississippi and later moved to Atlanta, Georgia at the age of 14. Not long after her journey through high school and college she started her career as a comedienne. Dedicating her life to God has led her to change her moral approach towards comedy. All of the animation, energy and aggressiveness from her club days are still there but her shows themes now revolve around the church and family values. "I believe the comedy ministry is mostly received because its not forced. Youre laughing and before you know it you're inspired." ^[1]
