Born in the state of California on December 29th, 1993, he lived in the Inglewood area with his mother, Bernadette Walker and father, whom there is little information about. He is the older brother of Swae Lee, and another sibling named Michael. Some time after Swae Lee's birth, their father abandoned them causing their mother to raise them on her own. The mother and the siblings moved out of California and headed to the Southern United States.
Their mother worked for the US Army, and while the siblings were young, they lived in various cities across the United States. After leaving California, they moved to Mississippi, and later to Maryland. They would settle in Fort Hood, Texas as it would be their mother's Military post.
He and his younger brother, Swae Lee, would dance, sing, and write music together since they were young kids.
When his younger brother Swa Lee was about 10 years
old, he began to experiment with Fruity Loops.
After living in Texas, their mother met her future partner, Floyd Sullivan, and they moved to the Tupelo area of Mississippi. They lived in the neighborhood of Ida Street housing projects. The couple had a son, Floyd jr. Their stepfather supported the family by selling drugs.
