Skyhook

Skyhook (born March 31, 1997), is an American-Canadian Twitch.tv streamer and Brave (web browser) publisher. She is well known for her paintings, modeling, and cosplay. ^[1] ^[2] ^[3] ^[21]

Skyhook currently has over 33,236 followers and is a verified partner.

She got partnered in January 2016.

Her real name is Sam Crescenzo.

She is mostly known for creating paintings and cosplays.^[1]

In an interview with Twitch Creative on Medium, she told about her Twitch start:

"I started it because I was streaming on Periscope, holding my phone to my computer screen, and it was too complicated.
But one of my friends told me about Twitch and I was like let’s try Twitch instead!
I had a following from my modeling, but it wasn’t enough.
The first game I played on Twitch was Zelda, but then I played games like Portal and Bioshock cause I’m big on story games.
I got into Creative cause it launched October 2015 and I was like "holy crap this is made for me."
When I realized I could stream art, it went up instantly and I thought, "why would I play games when I’m good at art?""^[7]

She also told about her 'Skyhook' name choice:

"The name is a Dance Gavin Dance reference, which is my favorite band since I was 13.
It’s a BioShock Infinite reference as well because it was the first game that I played, beat, and was like "holy crap what just happened."
It’s a double-reference in that sense and I have tattoo of Dance Gavin Dance."^[7]

On Instagram, she has a following of over 121,000. Her photos are a variety of modeling pictures as well as photos of her paintings. On YouTube, she has over 1,000 subscribers. Youtube is where she posts random videos as well as time lapse paintings of finished projects.^[2]^[3]

As well as her social media presence, Skyhook also has a Patreon account with over 74 current subscribers as of May 2020. Belle offers multiple different membership tiers.^[20]

The cheapest tier offered by Skyhook is the $1 a month membership which offers colouring pages of her art, name on Twitch.tv stream intro and monthly phone and desktop wallpapers. The next tier for $10 a month includes access to her month's photosets and art, early access to videos and Patreon Feed (behind the scenes, blogs, polls, etc.) For $20 a month Skyhook offers a membership which includes access to her private Instagram account, all archived photosets and art and Discord access. For $50 a month Sam offers 1st month initiation package (Ride or Die sticker/postcard), signed mini polaroid, postcard and stickers and 20% discount on online shop (SkyhookArt.com).

The last tier for $75 offers 1st month initiation package (GhostyGooCrew stickers/ cosplay postcard) and signed photoset polaroids as well as previous tier rewards (including Ride or Die initiation package).^[20]
