Sherisse Pham is a Canadian journalist and author based in Hong Kong, China. She is a tech and business reporter for CNNMoney and CNN International. [1]
Education
Pham completed her undergraduate studies at the University of British Columbia, receiving a Bachelor of Arts in English literature and commerce.
She went on to attend Columbia University Graduate School of Journalism receiving an M.S. in broadcast journalism.
Career
Her career in journalism began in Beijing, China reporting on everything from the 2008 Summer Olympics to the city's new-found status as an insatiable consumer of luxury goods.
Pham's writing has also been published in publications such as The New York Times, South China Morning Post, and People Magazine.
She joined CNN in April 2008 as an intern.
Before reporting from Hong Kong, she was based in Washington D.C, where she was a general assignment weekend correspondent and digital producer.
She also worked as a correspondent in London with CNN International, covering the Syrian refugee crisis and other regional stories in Europe.
In 2011, she published a book titled Frommer's Beijing Day by Day alongside with Jen Lin-Liu.
