Shaquan Taylor is an 18 year-old resident of Brooklyn known for being arrested after beating his own 16-month old toddler causing her to have brain damage.

Born and raised in the neighborhood of Brooklyn in New York City,United States, he grew up with surrounded by family who lived in the area. He now resides in Coney Island.
On his Facebook he usually writes posts where he expresses the condition and the attitude of the members of society near where he lives in a critical light. He also opines about making money.
Facebook & Fatherhood

In late 2015, he began commenting about his agitation concerning having a daughter, Nylah Lewis, with a partner named Tammy Lewis, when he's not ready to have one.
In early 2016, he expressed that he didn't want to have the child but the woman ended up having one.
Relatives said Taylor, who met Lewis on Facebook, wanted no part of fatherhood.
He repeatedly denied he was the dad and only grudgingly baby-sat while the mom went to school, her family said.
Criminal History
A Facebook post that was taken some time back in 2015 where he admits he doesn't want to be in the baby's life.
He has five previous arrests, including one in 2015 in which he was charged with sexual misconduct because his girlfriend, Lewis, was only 14 at the time.
Their relationship continued and in April 2016, when Nylah was 2 months old, Taylor was arrested for harassing Lewis, police sources said.
Child Abuse Incident

A Facebook post that he wrote on Father's day which the post alludes to the treatment he had on the child.
On Father's Day, June 18th, 2017, on a day when he was supposed to spend time with his baby daughter, tragedy occurred instead.
Tammy had left Nylah with her father, Shaquan, at his apartment in Coney Island.
According to testimony, he was not at all motivated at all to see the baby, he had expressed that if she did came, he would beat her.
After a few hours went by, Tammy received a message from Shaquan on Facebook who said that something was wrong. Tammy headed over to get the child and upon arriving, she saw the child faced down on the couch of the house struggling to breathe. Tammy grabbed the baby and as she attempted leave the apartment complex, Taylor ran after her and punched her to the ground while she held the child in her arms.
Tammy laid on the apartment lobby unconscious.
Taylor then got the baby and gave it to his friend who called the ambulance.
The young mom ran off, but Taylor chased her and continued bashing her outside his W. 32nd St. building, bruising her face, sources said.
Then he hid in the bushes, according to police.
When authorities questioned Taylor, he claimed the baby was injured because she had fallen off the bed but doctors confirmed that Nylaha's bruises did not come from a fall.
He was charged on Monday with felony assault for beating both Lewis and her child.
Responding officers chased Taylor and busted him.
Police charged him early Monday with felony assault and acting in a manner injurious to a child younger than 17.
He was also charged with beating Lewis.
Taylor was arraigned early Tuesday, his 19th birthday, and held on $250,000 bail.
