Death
On Monday August 13, 2018, Shannan was reported missing after concerned friend did not hear back from her.
Her husband, Chris Watts, was arrested on Wednesday August 15, 2018, in connection to their deaths of his wife and two daughters.
He had confessed to authorities that he was responsible for their deaths and disappearance.
Days prior to his arrest, Chris Watts gave interviews to local and national news stations about his wife’s disappearance, asking for his wife to return home with their daughters and saying that if anyone had taken or harmed them, they should come forward.
