Scott Foval is a Democrat Party consultant from Madison, Wisconsin who worked to organize disruptions of Trump campaign events. He was caught on tape in 2016 by filmmaker James O'Keefe discussing his efforts at organizing disruptions and getting media coverage of confrontations at Trump events that he arranged. He worked for the group Americans United for Change until the tapes were released. He is filmed discussing his work with Bob Creamer (Democrat Party consultant), who resigned in the wake of the videos. Foval worked for Brad Woodhouse.
According to his About.me page, Foval has been a journalist, producer, media host, and consultant and was the Regional Political Coordinator for People For the American Way, a liberal progressive organization. The description says he has reported for The Wisconsin Gazette, The Huffington Post, and ChicagoPride.com. The profile says he has a Bachelor of Arts from The Greenlee School of Journalism at Iowa State University in Ames, Iowa and graduated as a Political Leadership Fellow with the Center for Progressive Leadership in 2013.
In O'Keefe's video, Foval is recorded on video saying "The campaign pays DNC, DNC pays Democracy Partners, Democracy Partners pays the Foval Group, the Foval Group goes and executes the shit on the ground."
He also says “I’m saying we have mentally ill people, that we pay to do shit, make no mistake."
Foval also says: “Over the last twenty years, I’ve paid off a few homeless guys to do some crazy stuff."
Foval is an avid cyclist.
He supports gay rights.
