Saranya was born in Surat, Gujarat to Amrita and Anand Raghavan. She was brought up in Adoor, Pathanamthitta, Kerala. She studied at St. Thomas Higher Secondary School, Neerattupuram, Edathua and graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Mangalore. ^[2]

She started working as a Choreographer. She worked for Malayalam movies Amen (2013 film) and Achayans (2017).She made her acting debut with the movie Mamangam (2019) and she gained fame in the Malayalam people. She appeared in horror film Aakasha Ganga 2 as well. ^{[2] [10]}
