Sarah Jio (born February 18, 1978) is an American best-selling author and journalist.
She is based in Seattle.
Early Life and Education
Sarah wrote her first book during her childhood titled "A Tug Boat's Dream."
She attended Western Washington University and graduated with a degree in Journalism.

Sarah has been a freelance writer her entire career and contributes to a number of national magazines and newspapers including The New York Times, Redbook, The Oprah Magazine, Cooking Light, Glamour, Self, Real Simple, Fitness, Marie Claire, Hallmark, Seventeen, BRIDES, Health, Bon Appetit, Gourmet, The Seattle Times, Parents, Woman's Day, Parenting, and many others. She has also appeared as a commentator on NPR's Morning Edition.. The topics she covers includes food, health, nutrition, weight loss, diet, travel, psychology, home and garden, and more. For six and a half years, Sarah was a staff writer for Glamour magazine.

In 2012, Sarah's novel Blackberry Winter was an instant New York Times and USA Today bestseller, as well as an international bestseller and her book The Last Camella was a Kirkus Books Most Anticipated Book of that year. Other popular novels she has written include The Bungalow, Morning Glory, and Goodnight June. On February 7th 2017, Sarah's book Always: A Novel was published. To date, Sarah's novels are published in more than 30 countries, including Italy, France, Brazil, Turkey, Slovenia, Russia, China, Norway, Germany, Lithuania, Poland, Spain, and a number of others.

Sarah resides in Seattle and is the mother of three sons.
