Early Life and Education
Forgany was born in Cairo, Egypt, where she spent her early years before relocating with her family to Houston, Texas at age 11. Forgany graduated from the University of Houston with a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism. [1]
Career
Forgany began her Journalism career in Huston, where she worked for KTRK, the local ABC affiliate, and News24Houston. Forgany later joined the staff of KLFY, the CBS affiliate in Lafayette, Louisiana, as a weekend news anchor and reporter, where she covered the 2010 Haiti earthquake and Hurricanes Gustav and Ike, as well as interviewed then-Louisiana Governor Bobby Jindal and former President of the United States Bill Clinton. Since 2010 Forgany has been with KENS 5, where she anchors the weekday Morning News. [1]
