Murray started her career with internships at The Baltimore Sun and at The Arizona Republic. [2]
Murray joined the The Wall Street Journal in 2008. Murray covered Congress's unsuccessful attempt to overhaul the U.S. immigration system in 2013. She also spent years following the 2008 financial crisis and the economic fallout. She recently served as an anchor for their digital network in New York. She also covered Mitt Romney's 2012 presidential bid and his private comments to high-dollar donors. She joined CNN in 2015 to cover the Republican field and now is one of their lead reporters covering Donald Trump.
