Sara B. Fischer is an American journalist based in Washington, D.C. She is a media reporter at Axios, covering media trends. [1]
Education
Fischer graduated from George Washington University with a Bachelor's degree in journalism and a Master's degree inlegislative affairs. While there, she interned for Atlantic Media from 2010 to 2012. She worked in the corporate research division doing analysis on the type of web traffic that different reporters and news correspondents were driving in comparison to competitors around National Journal.

Sara Fischer has a media background in writing, reporting, subscription and advertising sales, as well as corporate research.
She interned at Atlantic Media where she did corporate research comparing membership models to subscription models.
During her senior year of college, Fischer served as a business development associate at Politico, where she helped manage sales operations and client engagement for the company’s advertising team.
In March 2013, Fischer began working as a freelance news assistant at CNN. Eventually, she co-authored their political newsletter, "Gut Check," and reported stories reported breaking news and long-form content on CNN Politics' blog, "Political Ticker."
After that, she moved back to the advertising sector and worked with theNew York Times ' advertising team. [6]
