Sampson Davis, MD
Dr. Sampson Davis (born January 19, 1973) is a medical doctor and a The New York Times best-sellilng author. He frequently appears as a commentator on CNN.
Early Life & Education
Davis was born in the Newark Beth Israel Medical Center in New Jersey; he was the fifth of six children. As a child, Davis grew up in cramped living quarters, surrounded by fragmented families, crime and drugs. Still, he was a good student, able to strike the fragile balance between being smart yet socially acceptable on the streets. It was this combination of skills, Davis says, that were most critical to his survival. [1]
