On , 2018, Ward was killed in an apparent murder-suicide in Raleight. The shooting occurred at about 8:15 p.m. in the 4200 block of Troost Drive, near the intersection of Egypt Central Road and Raleigh Millington Road. ^{[3] [1] [1]}
