On November 22, 2017, Cox was arrested after video allegedly showed her cutting up lines of cocaine in a classroom while students were outside waiting for class to begin. ^{[undefined] [1] [undefined]}

One student apparently started videotaping through a window after thinking it was strange that Cox was alone in the room with the door locked.
