Education

Schaeffer received a Bachelor's degree in History from Middlebury College and a Master's degree in History and Political science from the University of Virginia. ^[1]

Career

Early in her career, Schaeffer was an assistant to Ambassador Jeane Kirkpatrick during her time at the American Enterprise Institute. She has held positions such as Director of Media Relations and Public affairs for the Republican Jewish Coalition, Strategic Communications Consultant for the Independent Communications Experience, a speechwriter for Senator George Voinovich, as well as a Partner for Evolving Strategies. ^[1]

She sits on the board of the American Conservative Union, as well as the Women's Leadership Board for the Job Creators Network. ^[1]
