Ruby Rube (born January 16, 2006) is a YouTube Star. She is famous for her ‘3 AM’ comedy Video blog which she posts on her official YouTube channel.
Early life
Ruby Rube was born in England. Due to her young age, her parents have been very protective of their privacy and not much is known about their family. She has a kid sister named Bonnie who is featured in many of her videos.
She goes to school and enjoys playing with toys and games like any girl her age.
Her parents have been crucial to her success and are actively involved in the process of making the videos and publishing them online
Career
She started her YouTube channel on December 21, 2015, and posted a video titled ‘Introducing Ruby Rube’. She went viral after posting the video ‘I MAILED MYSELF in a BOX to SANTA CLAUS and IT WORKED!! (Almost Froze to Death)’.
She has then posted videos, like ‘DO NOT MAKE FLUFFY SLIME AT 3AM!!
SPOOKY’, ‘DO NOT SPIN A FIDGET SPINNER AT 3AM!! SPOOKY’, ‘DO NOT TALK TO SIRI AT 3AM!!!!’, and ‘I MAILED MYSELF in a BOX to the EASTER BUNNY and IT WORKED!!’. Each of these videos has millions of views on YouTube. Her 3 A.M. challenge videos are often characterized by her going on adventure and her describing all that she experiences.
Rise to stardom
Although Ruby Rube has been posting videos on her YouTube Channel since December 2015, like any other YouTuber, she struggled to get a lot of subscribers initially. But on November 26, 2016, she posted the video ‘I MAILED MYSELF in a BOX to Santa Claus and IT WORKED!!’.
The video went viral and has since then received more than 10 million views.
This turned her into an overnight sensation and she started getting more subscribers.
She banked on the popularity of the video to release ‘I Mailed Myself BACK from the NORTH POLE in a BOX (Christmas Elves came with Me)’ on November 30, 2016, which gained over 2.7 million views.
Since then she has been posting videos based on the idea of her mailing herself to fantastical persons and her experiences during the adventures.
