Robert Becsenescu is a blockchain enthusiast, angel investor, and entrepreneur based in Los Angeles, California.

Becsenescu graduated from Aiglon College. He attended UC Berkeley where he earned a BA in Political Economy in 2017. ^[4] While attending college, he was a member of Blockchain at Berkeley. Becsenescu holds certificates from Harvard, Yale, Wharton and UCLA Anderson and is a Romanian Banking Institute Scholar.

Becsenescu is the founder of Populus, a tokenized venture capital fund designed to bridge the average investor with Blockchain innovation.

He is also a partner at 0-Day Capital, the first Romanian VC fund to focus on pre-seed financing of IT&C ideas.
