Robbie Barrat is a 17 year-old programmer who taught himself how to build a Rapping Artificially intelligent Bot. ^{[undefined] [undefined]}

Barrat lives in a rural farm in West Virginia, far flung and yonder from any Tech hub that could be popping in the area. He is a Self-taught Coderwho specializes in Artificial Intelligence, and he credits Open-source software as a crucial factor in teaching himself.

He uses the Linux Operating system for both software-related and ethical reasons. He also uses Pybrain and Google's TensorFlow machine learning libraries. Being a highly skilled Python programmer, ^[undefined] he is the founder and teacher of the programming and computer science club at his High School. ^[undefined]

The idea to build an AI who can create its own bars came after Barrat and his classmates were in a heated and challenging argument as to whether AI could perform "artistic" or "human" better tasks than Humans themselves. After a week of working profusely on the project, he completed RAPBOT after only a week. ^[undefined]

This is the first notable project that he's worked on using AI in this manner.

He wrote most of the code in an afternoon, and would go on to improve the results the next coming days.

He trained the AI on using 6,000 Kanye West lines and can generate speech that can rap the words assembled by the AI, with the right pauses. ^[undefined]
