Rick Tyler is a Pastor and a candidate for the United States. House of Representatives in Tennessee for the state’s 3rd Congressional District seat. He also owns Whitewater Grill restaurant.
Tyler was born October 10, 1957 in Miami, Florida. His parents were Tennesseans - high school sweethearts who married after World War II. Rick was born ten years into his parents’ marriage, being the youngest child of three with two older sisters.Rick’s early life and upbringing were solidly middle class and conservatively traditional. He witnessed the mass Cuban influx into Miami.

Controversy
In June 2016, Rick infuriated many people when he put up a billboard that said "Make America White Again" on Highway 411 in Polk County, Tennessee.
The slogan is a play on Donald Trump's "Make America Great Again". The billboard was taken down after a day because of complaints.
Rick's stated goal is a return to "1960s, Ozzie and Harriet, Leave it to Beaver time when there were no break-ins; no violent crime; no mass immigration."
He says he has no hatred for people of color.
Rick also has billboards designed against Muslims, interracial marriage and gay marriage.
Rick previously ran for the U.S.
Senate as an independent candidate in 2014, receiving 5,759 votes, or 0.4 percent, in a race against 12 opponents that was won by Republican incumbent Senator Lamar Alexander.
