Rick Chambers is an American news presenter and radio commentator. Presently, he is a co-anchor of the KTLA Weekend News and Sunday Edition in Los Angeles, California. He joined the KTLA news group in May 2011.
Personal Life and Education
He was brought up in Chicago. He is a graduate from Southern Illinois University. He went into the military just after school, back in the mid '70s. In the wake of moving on from Southern Illinois University and serving in the Air force, he satisfied his TV news obligations in his Southern Illinois, then Kentucky and Miami. He was charmed toward the West Coast by KNBC in Los Angeles in the mid '90s. His first task was to cover the mobs that followed the decision in the Rodney King beating case
Career
Chambers is an Emmy Award winning columnist covering southern California's greatest stories for over 20 years. The uproars of 1992 were Rick's first task in Los Angeles, California. He has since given watchers live reports from the Northridge quake, O. J. Simpson preliminary, the discharge in Malibu and Laguna, and Ronald Reagan's burial service.
He anchored political shows and met presidential hopefuls.
He has hobnobbed with VIPs on honorary pathway and talked one on one with the newsmakers of the day.
He is as certified and okay with the manual workers as he is with the civic chairman or the senator.
Throughout the years, Rick has been associated with numerous scores of magnanimous associations sorting out pledge drives and grant services for a significant number of them, including the Santa Clarita Valley where he calls home.
