Rebecca Gleeson (born in 1971) is an Australian publicist and the wife of the famous American actor Eric Bana who played the lead role in the superhero film 'Hulk'.^[1]

She was born in 1971 to Murray Gleeson and his wife Robyn Gleeson in Australia. Her father Murray Gleeson is the former Chief Justice of Australia.^[2]

She has three siblings one brother and two sisters, her brother is Nicholas Gleeson, while her sisters are Jacqueline, and Gabrielle Gleeson.

She graduated from college with a degree in the course of telecommunication and journalism.

The couples met while working for Seven Network in 1995 and hit it off. They dated for two years before deciding to tie the knot. During that time Eric was working on the television series Full Frontal (film).

In 1997, the couples got married after Bana proposed to her on a trip to the United States in 1996. They have welcomed two children a son, Klaus (born in 1998), and a daughter, Sophia (born in 2002).
