Rami Helali is an entrepreneur. He is the co-founder and CEO of Kotn, a company that creates and sells essentials ethically sourced from Egyptian cotton.

Helali graduated from the University of Western Ontario in 2010. He earned an Bachelor's degree in Finance. ^[0]

After graduating from UWO, Helali landed a job at Belle Epoque Travel in Cairo, Egypt. His title was Director of the Development. ^[0]

After working in Cairo, Rami moved to New York City. He worked as the Director of Business Development at Reservoir Media, an investment company specializing in music publishing. ^[0]

In October 2014, Rami Helali left his job at Reservoir and moved back to Egypt.

Spending 6 months there, he set up what is now the production and logistics for Kotn.

Now, as the CEO, he leads a company that sells ethically-sourced, direct-to-consumer essentials from Egyptian cotton. ^[2]

Helali, along with his two-cofounders of Kotn, were selected to be in the Forbes 30 Under 30 for 2018; they were placed in the 'Retail & Ecommerce' category. ^[3]
