Raj Ganguly is a venture capitalist and technology enthusiast based out of Los Angeles, California.

He is well known as the Co-Founder and Managing Partner of B Capital.

Education

Raj got his Bachelor of Applied Science in Engineering at the University of Pennsylvania where he graduated Summa Cum Laude as a Benjamin Franklin Scholar.

He also attended the Wharton School where he earned a Bachelor of Science in Business/Managerial Economics, graduating Summa Cum Laude and as a Joseph Wharton Scholar.

Finally, Raj attended Harvard University where he earned an MBA in Business.

Career

Raj started his career as a Senior Analyst at Marakon Associates.

He worked there for two years before moving on to J.P.

Morgan backed Miradiant where he spent a year as a Product Development Manager.

He spent another year as an interim executive at Diageo before becoming a Senior Manager at McKinsey & Company.

Ganguly spent the next six years as Senior Vice President at Bain Capital.

Raj then dived into the world of venture capital becoming a Co-Founder and General Partner at Velos Partners.

Ganguly has been a Senior Adviser at the Boston Consulting Group since 2013 and has since served on the board of many companies.

In 2015, Ganguly co-founded B Capital with Eduardo Saverin.
