Career
Raj at Solana
Raj Gokal started his career as an analyst at Finaco in 2010 where he mostly worked on spreadsheets. Subsequently, Raj became an associate of General Catalyst Partners, Boston, where Raj made quality inputs into consumer internet, software, systems, services, and clean energy.
He worked for about six months as a fellow for Rock Health in San Francisco and later co-founded Sona in 2011, where he built wearable health monitoring devices focused on chemistry monitoring which attracted over $20m in investment. Raj scaled Omada Health as Director of Product. He later took a year off to travel, consult, and rapidly build products that he would like to see exist in the world. Around that time he met and took on advisory relationships with Platejoy, Sibly, ZenFit, and Path. Raj Gokal had invested in a few companies.[14]
In Solana
Raj Gokal is part of the 'team Solana', where he is currently a Co-Founder and the Chief operating officer. Solana is a new architecture for a high-performance blockchain. Raj started his work at Solana around December 2017. In Solana, Raj focuses on rebuilding blockchain for scalability without trade-offs.
Raj has spent 10 years in product management and finance.
He also started the consumer medical device company Sano which attracted over $20m in investment, and led product management at Omada Health as it grew tenfold.[6]
