Darryl Granberry, better known as PontiacMadeDDG or DDG, is an American YouTube Personality, Content Creator, and Rapper who is originally from Pontiac, Michigan. He is known for creating a wide variety of YouTube videos as well as his songs "Givenchy", "Big Boat (Lil Yachty diss)", and "Lettuce" featuring Famous Dex.

Darryl was born October 10th, 1997 in Pontiac, Michigan to Tanya and Darryl Granberry.

His father worked at Ford Motor Company while his mother worked two jobs in retail. He grew up with five siblings in neighborhood that was described as "ghetto, rough, and dangerous."

In his youth, Darryl was a boxer for 4 years and excelled in school with his preferred subject to be math.

He attended International Technology Academy for Middle and High School and graduated valedictorian of his class with a 4.0 GPA.

Darryl's sister gifted him a camera before he traveled to Washington D.C. which led him to post his first YouTube video of the trip on June 12th, 2014 on his channel PontiacMadeDDG. His channel would consist of a wide variety of content including vlogs, music videos, skits, pranks, and more. Darryl made a channel exclusively for vlogs on July 26th, 2014. At the beginning of his YouTube career, Darryl supported himself by working at Kroger and TJ Maxx.

On October 21st 2014, Darryl's brother was killed in a shooting.

He uploaded a spoken word poem in honor of his brother.

After high school, Darryl went on to study broadcasting and theater interpreation at Central Michigan University. After a year and a half in school, he decided to drop out to pursue his entertainment career full-time.

Darryl has been making music since he was 10-years-old and one of his biggest influences is Drake.
