Pipi (soft drink)

Pipi is orange-flavoured soft drink produced by Dalmacijavino beverage Company in Croatian city of Split.

The drink, named after Pippi Longstocking, was first produced in 1971 and in subsequent years marketed with the help of Veljko Rogošić, popular long-distance swimmer, as well as calendar featuring model Silvana Kanazir. The drink itself became popular thanks to the series of television commercials, best known of them being made in 1982 on Split Bačvice beach and featuring local models, including future Miss Yugoslavia Ana Sasso.

Starting with 2000 Dalmacijavino beverage company added few more drinks and its variants to the brand, including Pipi Bitter Lemon, Pipi Tonic Water, Pipi Lemonade and Cola Pipi.
