Pio La Ditingancia (born 5th October 1994), in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic, is a Internet celebrity (social media star) and television celebrity, with over 3.4 million followers on his official Instagram page. He has also featured in several reality TV series, including “Wild and Out”, and “Exce$$”, among other achievements.^[1]

Born as Jonathan Abreu Sosa on the 5th October 1994, in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic, he had a sister who passed away due to health complications.

From an early age, Pio was a bit different than other children his age, and after testing, it was discovered that Pio has a Growth hormone deficiency, so it’s unlikely that he’ll grow further than an average six years old child. He now stands at 4ft 8ins, which is equal to 1.42m. As he got older, it became obvious to him that he had health problems, and that his mother couldn’t afford treatment. As a result, he immigrated to New York City, USA in search of a solution to his both financial and health issues.

Once settled in New York, Pio started looking for job opportunities, and though he wanted to become an actor, he could only find jobs in food and grocery stores.

As Pio struggled to find acting engagements, he decided to start an Instagram page and share his personal life with people around the world. He also launched a YouTube channel, and began posting videos of himself at work and his personal life. In no time he reached 100,000 followers, and that number soon became 500,000.
