Paul Scalia (Priest)
Paul Scalia (Priest)
Paul David Scalia is a Catholic priest serving the Diocese of Arlington in Virginia, a position he obtained after working for three years as a pastor of Saint John The Beloved Catholic Church in McLean, Virginia.
He got his Master of Arts degree from the Pontifical University of Saint Tomas Aquines in 1996, and was ordained as a priest the same year. [1] Paul is one of nine children to late Justice Antonin Scalia. After Antonin's passing on February 11, 2016, Paul led part of his father's funeral mass hosted at the National Shrine of the Immaculate Conception. Just like his father Paul is an outspoken critic of homosexuality. In addition to serving as a priest Paul is also the founder of the Arlington chapter of Courage, an organization inside of the Roman Catholic Church that's supposedly "seeks to help people with same-sex attractions move beyond the confines of homosexual identity and develop an interior life of chastity".
