Pasi Sahlberg
Pasi Sahlberg is a Finnish Educator, Scholar and a Visiting professor of Practice at Harvard Graduate School of Education.
Career
He has served the World Bank in Washington, DC, the European Commission in Italy and acted as an external expert to the OECD advising governments in more than 50 countries.
Pasi is a former Director General at the Finland’s Ministry of Education and a Visiting professor of Practice at Harvard Graduate School of Education. He also chairs the Open Society Foundation’s Education Board and is a member of the Governing board of the University of Oulu, the Centre on International Education Benchmarking and the International Council of Education Advisors (ICEA) for the Scottish Government.
Education
Pasi studied at University of Jyväskylä, University of Helsinki and University of Turku, and curretly holds his Ph.D in Education.
