Olivia H. Scharfman is a Broadway actress.[8]
Early Life & Education
Scharfman attended Secondary school in Connecticut and graduated from Greenwich High School in 2015. She graduated with a Bachelor's degree from Yale University in 2019.[2]
Durting her time at Yale University she was the Chair Emeritus for SEDS-USA. She was also a Member of the Yale Undergraduate Aerospace Association,a Member of the Yale Debate team. She is the former Director of Development for thinkTANC (Theoretical and Applied Neural Computing). She has also been a Professional stage Actor and Member of Actor’s Equity since 2010. [1]
Experience
Performed At Lincoln Center
Scharfman has spent many years living in New York City where she has continued her work as an actress. Sharfman had a a lead role in in the Broadway play "Little Dancer" by Lynn Ahrens and Stephen Flaherty; it was directed by Susan Stroman at the Lincoln Center for the Performing Arts. She performed off-Broadway in the lead role of Vicky in “I Know What Boys Want” by Penny Jackson. She was also in the off-Broadway plays "Kafka's Belinda" and "Middletown." She is Strategic Partnerships Director at SEDS-USA and actor at the Actors' Equity Association. She has been an intern at Jupiter Technology Systems and XPRIZE. In a 2010 article in The Greenwich Time she stated:
I loved becoming this other character.
You become engrossed with the character.
You go back to having that same belief that you have as a child of ‘yes, I can do that'.
Television Commercial
She was in a national network television commercial as a voiceover artist for Sunny Delight in 2011.
Short Film
She played the role of young Jeanie in the film "Imagine" directed by Bill Barber.

Space exploration and development is my passion, and I plan to spend my life working towards that goal from both a technical and an advocacy perspective.
My interests lie in astrobiology, space development for earth Conservation, and terraformation. I am particularly enthusiastic about the future of student involvement in space exploration and spoke on this topic at SpaceApps NYC 2016, the 2016 International Mars Society Convention, the 2017 and 2018 Dawn of Private Space Science Symposiums, and Icarus Interstellar's 2017 Starship Congress. To that end, I also serve on the Space Education and Outreach Committee for the IAF and am an SGAC member.
