Oleg Atbashian
Oleg Atbashian is an activist writer, graphic artist, and entrepreneur in the U.S.
He is originally from the Soviet Union and immigrated to the United States in 1994.
Oleg wrote the book Shakedown Socialism.
Atbashian grew up in what is now Ukraine and was a "propagandaartist" for the Soviet Union.
He created agitprop posters for the local Party Committee.
He witnessed fall of the Soviet Union and the corrupt Kleptocapitalism that followed.
In the United States, he was surprised by the popularity of Leftist politics.
He was horrified by the events of 9/11.
In 2004, he became active in a street theater group, "Communists for Kerry".
He came up with The People's Cube satirical website political humor.
He also launched Che-Mart with Bryan McCarthy, an immigrant from Ireland.
The business sells products mocking Che Guevara.
He speaks Englush, Ukranian, Russian and some German.
[7]In 2010 he published the book Shakedown Socialism: Unions, Pitchforks, Collective Greed, The Fallacy of Economic Equality, and other Optical Illusions of "Redistributive Justice".
On November 4, 2016 he and a companion were arrested for putting up fliers and posters on the George Mason University campus.
He is charged with felony destruction of property with damages stated to be $2,500.
Oleg said the large posters were stuck on with wheat and water and can be removed and others materials were standard office supply sold sticky paper.
