Early Life
Ogawa Ayaka (born February 20, 1985) is a Japanese news reporter.
Born in Tokyo, Japan, the daughter of Kaoru Ogawa a doctor at Keio University School of Medicine. Ogawa Ayaka lived in Michigan from age 6-8. She then moved back to Japan and attended Aoyama Gakuin elementary, junior high school, high school, and unvieristy. She studied international political economics and international political science. During her time at the University she also studied abroad in Spain. She is fluent in Japanese and English.
Career
Ogawa Ayaka joined TV Asahi in 2007. Her debut was as an announcer for a program called "Breaking! Koshien's Way". In April of 2011 she became in charge of the third generation sub-caster of "News Station". It is said that she had her big break in February of 2017.
Personal Life
Ogawa's hobbies include watching movies and reading books.
Her favorite movies include "Sound of Music", "New Cinema Paradise", "Berlin Angel's Poetry", "Sting", "We do not have tomorrow", "Scissorhands", "Chaplin's Dog Life of the Street", and "Back to the Future". Her favorite books are Haruki Murakami"End of the World and Hard Boiled Wonderlands", "Floral Arrangements to Algernon", and "Helen Keller Autobiography of Miracle". She frequently posts on her blog "Ogawa Ayaka Coloring Daylight". Her favorite phrase is "learn from yesterday, live for tomorrow".
