Noor Zahi Salman is the 2nd wife of Pulse Orlando Shooting killer Omar Mateen. They have one child together, a 3 year old boy. It is not clear if they were together or separated at the time of the shooting. The couple's home has a Star Wars themed bathroom. ^[1]

Salman is originally from Afghanistan but grew up in Rodeo, California, near San Francisco.

She attended the now-defunct Heald College-Concord in California.

Noor told the FBI that she had previously driven Mateen to Pulse Orlando (gay nightclub). She says she tried to talk him out of the shooting. However, she went with him to buy ammo for it. Officials are considering filing charges against Noor for failing to report her husband's plans. ^[2]

Mateen would rarely allow Salman to visit her family after they got married.

He only let her go home when her father died.
