Niki Noto Palmer is a Reporter, Journalist, and Television Host.
Early Life and Childhood
Niki Noto was an only child making her not only a natural to be the center of attention but she also had a knack for speaking.
Since in her Early age it was noticed that Noto not only could speak well, but every time she did, people would listen.
Even her 4th grade teacher said she was "most likely to have her own talk show".
Growing up Noto contained a love for sports that blossomed when she became a member of the Hoover A's T-ball team as a right fielder and brick wall for grounders.
Her adoration for sports only grew as her father and grandparents quizzed her on teams such as the Braves and their lineup.
Education
As Noto grew older, her gift for speaking only grew until she was accepted into the Broadcast Journalism class as a sophomore; a class that was only open for upperclassmen.
She attended the class for the subsequent 3 years of high school; and it was within those 4 walls of that classroom that laid the foundation to her future.
It was there that she decided that she wanted to become a journalist.
After graduation from High School she decided to further her education by going to college.
After careful consideration, Noto finally decided to attend the University of Alabama where she obtained her bachelor's degree in telecommunication in 2009.
While going to school for telecommunication, she also worked with the sports information department.
Career
After graduating, Noto lived in Nashville, TN where she continued to help the media relations and marketing department for the Tennessee Titans football team.
After deciding to make a change of scene, Noto moved to Atlanta, Georgia where she worked with the Atlanta Falcons with jobs including being the Inside Reporter, covering the team and it's cheerleaders, being apart of the community relations department, and in the 2010-2011 season she became a field game host for multiple commercial and fan related features.
In addition, she was able to work for the Georgia Public Broadcasting's (GCB) "Sports Central" as both co-host and correspondent featuring the high school where she worked for the GHSA football and basketball state championships as the sideline reporter.
Starting in 2011, Noto decided to join the team at ESPN where she took part in their traveling program that traveled the country to all of the largest college football match ups.
With this opportunity to see the country came the opportunity for new adventures.
Her adventures took her from skydiving with Kansas State, to barrel racing with Nebraska, water skiing with Clemson and much much more.
Wherever she went Noto was always up to try something new and exciting no matter how nerve wracking.
Then, as of 2011, Noto became a member with CSS as a free-lance reporter in charge of covering the matches for many different SEC football games from the sideline.
Also, she worked with Comcast where she hosted and on demand series "ATL Sports Experience".
In 2013, Noto allowed her love of golf to finally show as she hosted a series for PGA.com dubbed "Weekly Golf Buzz".
While at the same time, Turner Sports decided to hire her to cover the Final Four and Frozen Four for NCAA.com.
In 2014, she was called by NCAA to serve as the game host after covering collegiate basketball and hockey championships.
After which she decided to continue working with ESPN as the sideline reporter and their correspondent.
In addition, Noto started appearing on HLN, speaking about things such as "Dr. Drew on Call" and speaking/ anchoring the "Bleacher Report" updates for Weekend Express.
She also hosted the "Tailgate Turnover" for CBS Sports Network and has appeared in multiple commercials and videos for places such as Disney and Moe's Southwest Grill.
Noto has been published in many different Magazine's such as Men's Health Magazine and JEZEBEL.
Personal
Nowadays, Niki lives in the suburbs of Atlanta with her husband Michael Palmer and their dog, Pippa.
Her favorite food is anything Italian, mainly Sacco and Spaghetti.
Both Niki and Michael take part in the community of the Northpoint Community Church and act as Inside Out leaders for students in high school.
Niki is a member of W.I.S.E. (Women in Sports and Events) as well as being a member in their Wise Within mentor/mentee program.
In addition, she is a mentor for the Boys and Girls Club of Metro Atlanta's Youth of the Year.
