New Gods: Nezha Reborn is a Chinese 3D Animated fantasy Action film directed by Zhao Ji and written by Mu Chuan. It is based on the character of Nezha from the Ming dynasty novel Investiture of the Gods.

When the boy-god Nezha conquers the Dragon King in 3000 years, he returns as an ordinary man to find his own path to becoming a true hero.^[7]

While living as an ordinary deliveryman and motor racing fan, Nezha encounters old nemeses and must rediscover his powers to protect his loved ones.^[8]

A normal young deliveryman Li Yunxiang, though coming from the slum area,He is living a satisfying life but when the arrogant wealthy son of Boss beats him down, his deep anger turns into a blast of Truth Fire^[9][10]

New Gods: This gives the full details of Nezha Reborn and expands on the original story of Nezha from the Ming Dynasty novel Investiture of the Gods. It was directed by Zhao Ji and produced by Light Chaser Animation Studios. It took four years to produce the film.

The film was released in Mainland China on 12 February 2021 (Chinese New Year). Netflix acquired global rights to the film except in China, and it was released on the platform on 12 April 2021. New Gods: Nezha Reborn is not related to the 2019 film Ne Zha.
