On August 21, 2016, while high on Cocaine, Weitzel crashed into several cars while driving 75 miles per hour, in an attempt to kill his toddler son.

Weitzel had left his son intentionally unbuckled before the crash.

^[2]He told police, the reason he wanted to kill Isaiah was because being a father was a big responsibility and he did not think he was man enough to raise a child.

A Go Fund Me has been established to help cover Isaiah's medical cost and mother.

Weitzel is charged with attempted first-degree murder, child abuse, assault, criminal mischief, possession of a controlled substance and vehicular assault.
