Najwa Zebian (Arabic: نجوى ذبيان) is a Lebanese-Canadian author, poet, inspirational speaker, social media influencer, and educator based in London, Ontario. ^{[1] [10]}

Zebian was born in Lebanon and emigrated to Canada in 2006 at the age of 16. Zebian is presently a doctoral candidate in Educational Leadership at Western University, from which she had previously earned a MEd in Curriculum Studies in 2013, a BEd in General Science and Biology in 2012, and a BS in Biology in 2010. ^{[7] [9] [10]}

Zebian’s writing career began in earnest as an attempt to empathize with her immigrant high school students in London, Ontario whose life experiences resonated with her own.

Zebian’s poetry and inspirational video clips quickly gained popularity across social media, and she has since amassed nearly a million followers between Twitter ^[2], Instagram ^[4], Facebook ^[3], and YouTube ^[5], including celebrity fans such as Debra Messing, Hilary Swank, and Jordin Sparks. Zebian’s work has been featured in The New York Times, Glamour, BBC News, CBS News, and Times of India. Zebian is also a highly sought-after motivational speaker, and has addressed political rallies and educational and motivational conferences across North America, including a TEDx Talk. ^{[7] [9] [11]}

In September 2019, Najwa started weekly Stories Of The Soul Podcast.^[19] She is also the author of Soul Academy, an online course helping people create a new life.^[1]

Najwa gained a large following on Instagram and as of October 2019, she has 1 million followers on the platform.^[4]

Zebian has authored two books of poetry, Mind Platter (2016) and The Nectar of Pain (2016). ^[6]

On March 5, 2019, Najwa's third book of poetry, Sparks of Phoenix, was published by Andrews McMeel Publishing.^[13]
