Nabila Makram

Nabila Makram (Arabic: نبيلة مكرم) is Minister of Immigration and Expatriate Affairs of the Arab Republic of Egypt, in the government headed by Prime Minister Sherif Ismail and President Abdel Fattah el-Sisi. Makram is the first person to hold the position, and was sworn in on 19 September 2015. [1]

Career

Makram had previously served as Egypt’s Consulate General in Rome, Italy as well as Deputy Consulate General in Dubai, United Arab Emirates.

Education

Makram earned a BA in Economics and Political Science from Cairo University in 1991.
