Murray Lancaster (Green Cove Shooter)

Murray Lancaster is a Clay County Florida resident.

Murray worked at a plant, but was fired in April 2016.

He is a graduate of Clay High School (Green Cove Springs, Florida). Murray is the son of former Clay County Sheriff Scott Lancaster. Murray is divorced and has a daughter.

Allegations

On May 3, 2016 Murray shot to death his girlfriend Valorie Short, her father and his ex-wife Erica Green Lancaster.

He abducted Valorie and went to meet with her father at the Magnolia Country Club, Green Cove Springs Police Chief Robert Musco said.

Both were found fatally shot at the club.

Police say Lancaster next went to a landfill where his ex-wife worked and fatally shot her.

Lancaster was later found dead in a trailer off Idlewild Avenue in Green Cove Springs, Florida. [1]

Deputies found Lancaster's truck, with a.223 rifle inside, at his family's home.
