Moulvi Zahran Hashim or Moulavi Zahran Hashim was a radical Islamist Imam and preacher who was identified as the suicide bomber at the Shangri-La Hotel, Colombo during the 2019 Sri Lanka Easter Bombings.^[1]

Moulvi Zahran was named by the Sri Lanken intelligence as the man behind the group known as National Thowheed Jamath (NTI) which is responsible for the attack.

The horrific suicide bombings which have now killed 310 people, including eight British citizens.

Zahran Hashim was a prolific lecturer for National Tawheed Jamaath with several YouTube videos that were still available on that platform as of 9.30pm GMT on 21 April 2019. The videos were deleted the next morning.
