Molly grew up in the Joy Road section of Detroit. Her father passed away from being shot multiple times when she was 7 years old. She states that the aggression in her music is rooted in his death. From a young age, she was "mobbin" in the streets and was fascinated by guns. Molly and her brother were raised by her mom. She hated school and would often skip class and get into class. Molly was eventually kicked out of school. She briefly worked at a salon as a hair stylist and would get noticed from her Instagram videos rapping in her living room.
Molly started to focus on her rap career in the summer of 2016.
Her most popular songs include "2 Faced", "Lately", and "Fight Me."
She has collaborated with Cuban Doll on the song "Let it Blow." Molly has been featured on the YouTube channel for 4sho multiple times. [1] In March of 2017, she received criticism from the press for pointing a gun at a toddler in an Instagram Live video. She clarified the situation saying that they were playing with fake guns and the video was heavily edited.
