Duffy attended Brown University where she graduated Magna Cum Laude with an AB in Commerce, Organizations, and Entrepreneurship. She earned her MFA in Transdisciplinary Design from the Parsons School of Design. [0]
Career
Duffy founded Rhode Island's first microfinance fund in 2008, the Capital Good Fund.
She previously was a Resident in Social Enterprise at the New Sector Alliance, a Research Associate at the Harvard Business School, a Design Strategist at Capital One, a Research Fellow and Undercurrent, and a Design Researcher at Casper. For two years, Duffy was an Adjunct Instructor at Stanford University in New York, teaching the "Intro to Human Values in Design" course. Duffy is currently the Senior Organizational Designer at IDEO and consultsfor companies on large-scale organizational change and organizational design project. [0]
Duffy has written for Fast Company, Quartz, the Stanford Social Innovation Review, and others. Alongside Liz Fosslien, Duffy is the co-author of No Hard Feelings, a book about controlling emotions in the workplace. In addition, she co-runs a series of meetups in NYC on culture called CULTURE LABx. [2]
